Cool russian women ?

Hello,

I have been communicating by phone and e-mail with several (6) ladies .
I have the impression that these educated ladies seem to be interested . But they act cool , they do not starting new talk topics ,and when I try to bring a more intimacy talk they give me academic answer , they do not laugh when I try to bring some humur into the conversation .
Is it becourse the language barier , the cultural differences,
or is just me ?

Humor.. I think , that you will not smile one Russian joke- we not understand your humor sometimes.
Better talk more and smaller joke. Russian girl can not understand or understand not right, and be pity on you. If you will talk more , it will be simpler to talk.

Flan, you are entirely right in that humour differs a bit. I've found russian humour to be more sarcastic, ironic. Therefor, they might not understand your humour?
An example of a joke I heard from a russian:

i have a lot of friends abroad and we perfectly understand each other, laughing and joking and so on and so forth.

a little piece of advice, if u do not object, look for a an open-minded ladies, who have their own opinion and are not afraid to ask questions if they don't know something.

My sister was roomates with a Russian Girl who was recently Divorced, she introduced me to her because she was hot and thought I would like her, I liked how she looked she is 5'10 like 130 lbs blonde and beautiful, but she had the personality of a wet mop, always sarcastic and only talked about what interested her.
