Well you guy's were right , I started following your trails and discovered she was upto no good within a few hours , thanks everyone.

Well undeterred and following you guys advice I'm continuing
my search.
I've met someone who I am going to see. In Moscow.
I email her at work , big global company , and she has her own PC at home where we talk for hours. I have her mobile and home phone number. She speaks good English , has never asked for money and says she earns a good salary. She works outside of Russia but her family live in Russia.
Now I also had a look on that russian blacklist site at the red flags.
Two stood out
a) 1 parent dead , mother.
b) she wants to phone me which costs quite a bit.

Am I been a little OTT here??

Help me out guys , if you want to keep it

Is there a significant age difference between the two of you? The lesser the difference the lesser the risk. Likewise the physical appearance of the lady, the less pretty the less risk.
Don't pay any attenrtion to deceased relative, all I would say is learn to walk before you learn to run but good luck anyway.

Can I ask what you learnt about the previous one, just out of curiosity really?

At least we can still perform in one sport even if it ain't cricket or football!

9 years mate. she's 29 and I've just turned 38
Wouldn't call her glamerous but I think
she is nice.
Last one I learnt was that the glamour girls don't exist!
If it looks like it comes from a catalogue/magazine err it does!
Do not part with any money......whatever!!!!

Sorry computer problem so my last post was posted before I completed it. That's quite a reasonable age difference.
