I don't see this on the site, so I will ask here.
what are the major Russian airlines that fly to America? I have used Delta airlines in the past trips to Moscow, but there has to be more than Aeroflot airlines.

Corneo,
There is only one 'MAJOR' Russian airline although Aeroflot are cutting back on some of their routes.
There are numerous airlines that fly to Russia but I guess price is important.
Go to a US travel webite, I think expedia.com is one, enter your itinery to see the different options.
Do a google.com search for let's say 'discount air tickets', then explore the results to get the deal that seems best for you.
Depending where you are flying to in Russia may restrict your choices, if you are going to Moscow or SPb then that should be easy, going somewhere else then you might find things more difficult.
Send me a private message if you like.

Corneo,
If your major criterion is money, i suggest you look for flights via Brussels, Amsterdam or Frankfurt.European companies are the best options. It will take you some hours in those airports (not many really, could take a drink actually there).Furthermore, it will be easier to find flights for smaller cities, Kiev, Odessa, Minsk and the Baltics. If you dont have time to spare, i suggest you take a direct flight to Spb or Moscow.American companies might be better this way.
A google search will give answers to you.Have a nice trip.
