View Full Version : Oksana 116392

Oksana 116392 from Lugansk is a scammer. She has written in her advertisement that she speaks English and that she is a shop assistant. She wanted that I write her nearly every day and she answered me nearly every day at the morning. Then she told me that she write the letters from an Internet cafe and that she cannot speak English. So she asked me if I can help her with money for the translation.

Most of the scammers in Lugansk claim to use the services of a lady who supposedly charges approx $5 a letter.
Not sure how you can pay for translation at an internet cafe, they, as well as us, know of the online translators that whilst not perfect, are free of charge.

corneo

Something else to keep in mind. Normal pay is $100.00 a month. So if you paid for your letter to be translated, it would mean you could only get 20 letters done.

The math just doesn't work does it?

Thank you very much for your answers Martin and corneo! I ask myself how it can be possible that someone want 5 Dollar, if the normal income in a country is 50-70 Dollars a month. I think that I must have very much luck in such a situation to earn money with my job, if I am only a translator and my price is so high, Martin. Or maybe Oksana is a millionaire, but why she ask for money? And I have never seen an Internet Cafe on this earth, which have also translators there. Maybe the Ukraine is more progressive than Germany, but I was also one time in the Ukraine (it was in Kiev) and I have not seen such an Internet Cafe there. But maybe it is possible in Lugansk. And how can a normal ukrainian woman pay 100 Dollars for 20 translations corneo? Do you have an idea how it can be possible? I have gotten 7 letters from Oksana in the last 2 weeks, and she was every morning there as a shop assisistant, who have not so much money. How was it possible by such a price and by such a little income of her and by her job? Normally a shop assistance must work at this time. And why it is not also possible in the future?
Her last letter, when I have confronted her with this facts was: "Thank you for your response. It is very pitty you think this way because I was honest with you. But it is your choise of course. I never lied to you but I see there is no reason to explaine you something as you think you know everything for yourself. Ok. wish you good luck".
Yes, I believe you everything Oksana! Also that you wanted to take your life. But I only don't understand why you have never answered me on my questions and why you have never written me your address when I have asked you about it.

Ghostvoice,
Lugansk is famous. I'm not currently looking for a lady but that doesn't stop me broesing, just recently a lot of pretty women have been appearing from places in Ukraine I have never heard of but when I look at my interactive world map these are villages and towns just outside Lugansk. The gangsters who operate these ladies realise we are wise to them and are trying another deceptive trick.
As Corneo pointed out and I've had these ladies ask for money in the past, they say they earn $50 a month but have entered into a correspondence whereas an exchange of letters may cost $10. It's quite obvious, and even if they write with only one guy, they can only afford to write for a little over one week before they have to cease correspondence.
Would we go and buy an expensive car whereas we know we can only afford to pay the first installment realising that if we didn't keep up with the installments the car would be repossessed thus what we had paid would be lost money?
I've had ladies from free personals etc. who claim they only write with me but it is known that ladies on such a site may receive hundreds of responses. If only a handful of these guys start paying for letters, often 'canned' letters, well as Corneo would put it, that's when the maths begin to work out!

The math just doesn't work does it?
And now try to solve the riddle:
If Oksana is payed $100 a month and she
knows English 50/50, she gives 50 per cent of
letters she receives to her translater not to pay her for translating letters. For eg. translater translates her letters one by one ( russian exchange- we call that barter) How many letters you could get from Oksana?

Yes, she is a scammer. Don't write her letter every day and she will find another guy for herself who will write or speak to her every day . You ?
It would be better if you write on this site and tell us about other women-scammers

Don't help with money her , try to find another girl in FUSSR who doesn't need money. It can be a bit difficult to do , because usually these women are keen on career, business , and as a rule have a lover . They have money for the translation, but they have not time to write big romantic letters which could be translated http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

?

1) Did 'he' know that 'she' spoke only Russian?

2) Did 'she' over-estimate her English?

3) Do agencies intercept letters and translate them - even if it is not necessary?

I don't agree with you.

FSU women are very spirited, energetic and vigorous.
When they write letters themself they do it badly.

Why ? Because as usual they write what they think.
But why foreigners are looking for FSU women ?
They dream to find a girl who is speaking what they want to hear.

In this case a translator is a good variant to extinguish the fire of her emotions, poor man thinks that he has met the woman of his dream. He comes here - and gets into a mouse-trap http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

The second reason - my computer is mined.

I want to try the service of agencies and translators to date someone ...

Mary why don't you send me an email message or a personal message? Who knows I might like you. I would like to know more about who this lady called Mary is.

As for translation services, I would never trust a person who had all their letter translated. I would never know if she was real or was the translator tweaking what was said in the letters. You know adding and smoothing things over. Maybe leaving things out of the letter. You can have thing translated for free on the internet - not perfect.

BTW, it costs nothing to get a program that can tace your ip address. They even come free with some systems or can be downloaded for free.

Funny, my computer is mine.
Regarding that mousetrap, they're all the same - only the bait differs. A lion's trap is substantially different though.

Thunderdome,

In the past it was thought, and to a certain extent still is,
that only those who are emotionaly unstable could be hypnotized.
It was also believed that these people when they regained their emotional stability would no longer be hypnotizable. Such observations were based on only a few cases and failed to realize that when a patient was sick he tended to be dependent.

Don't use a sick agent - he will be hypnotized by a suspected person http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Mary,

get yourself a free firewall from Zonealarms, downloadable from

http://download.com.com/3000-2092-10264526.html

Your pc is a target now with all your addresses made public, and I'd hate to think of the amount of spam you're getting. This program is surprisingly effective in fending off intrusions and allows you to control who's talking.

A good anti-virus program, AGV, also free, you'll get from

http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php

Just scan & update frequently.

Be careful with post with smileys, and never allow a confirmation of receipt of mail to be sent.
So - enjoy your mail, I do too http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

2 You think that: "...FSU women are very spirited, energetic and vigorous...." I take your word for it

3 Your statement about their letter-writing is what I would call "a broad, sweeping statement". (does it *really* apply to ALL?)

4 Writing what they think is preferable in this context. It is sometimes called honesty. Also: It is preferable over writing without thinking!
