Having posted previously regarding the relevance of meeting a lady's parents and/or family, and having received, then, ignoramus response(s), I would just like to share my experience of 3 days ago.
Last Friday evening, and returning to UK on Sunday, I was sitting in a restaurant with my lady and I asked her if she would like me to meet her mother before leaving her city. My lady is shy, she had dropped hints about this but I guessed had been afraid to ask outright.
Anyway, Saturday afternoon we proceeded to her Mum's place where the entire family were waiting to greet me. The weather was very warm so we all sat having a garden party, lots of drink and food, her family welcomed me, all wanted their pictures taken with me, all tried to hold a conversation with me and even her 9 y/o niece entered into conversation with me.
It was a very good afternoon and her mum approved of me very much. Such a meeting with the family is important, a dishonest lady would rarely allow such a thing and it certainly gives me a warm feeling of acceptance.
