i am just wondering cause i was looking at prices to go to russia on a romance tour and i would like to know from everyone hear would it be safe to go with the comapnies or to check out the local travel agencies.

Hey Canadian Guy,

This would all depend on what company ( romance tour ) you are thinking of going with.There are honest ones and disshonest companies.You will first have to do your homework on the company you are thinking of going with.
Some companies pay some of the ladies a small amont to come to the tours to draw in the men that are paying alot to go to them.So most of the time these ladies are not interested in finding someone or leaving there country.
There will be a small amout of the ladies that are interested,but will they be interested in you and for the right reasons.

Some guys think the romance tours are good,this is only my opinion on what I think.

Just check out the companies good before making a dissision and ask people that have already used them companies what they think.

Greetings & welcome.
Just recently I had to make last minute re-arrangements for a 9 day trip in Ukraine and I actually considered one of those tours the cost of which would have been approx $1000 but included accommodation which would have cost $500 by itself.
I decided against it, call it a 'cattle market' thing however I had decided upon agencies recommended by guys on rwguide.com.
As Randy says and to go further, you do not know if these ladies are genuine or professional daters and if you are meeting for a date having not previously talked or corresponded it would be purely an 'eye candy' thing, you would know little if anything about each other thus something of an odd atmosphere.
Just as a suggestion, you might try booking yourself flights, then some 3 weeks before you travel write to some ladies telling them when you will be there and asking them if they would like to meet for a meal. If that doesn't work out then make the decision regarding a tour days before you travel.
These ladies are not stupid though and their first thoughts will be that you are meeting with many ladies, I could talk about a recent very good experience of mine whereas I met with only one such lady but I'll decline cos there are too many idiots around and I'm not referring to you, they know who they are!

Hi Randy,
I can't really see any point in sending my story, for every one good story there are probably 10 bad stories, I just got extremely lucky on this occassion.
Whilst luck played a part in the lady replying to my invite for a dinner date it was thinking with my head and not my prick that made me decide upon her. I decided upon her because I detected a genuine sincerity in her first and subsequent letters, that was not luck, it was detection.
She transpired to be a more sincere, kind, thoughful and polite lady than one could dream to meet thus in this respect I consider it to have been luck.
Whilst I wish Canadian Guy similar luck he gonna need to be prepared to trip-up a few times along the way.

P.S. Please note, I haven't mentioned a damn thing about her physical appearance, yes she is a pretty lady but the personality, WOW!

well you see when i type in romance tours all they give me are the ones from the states going to russia and you look at the prices and they average 3000-4000 dollars U.S. and if you configure that to canadain that alot of coin for you know the amount of time so when i saw it i went :p ??? and wanted some advice...

This is the sort of 'personal tour' I looked at, you can get yourself to FSU for I guess less than $1000 airfare and the tour costs significantly less than the figures you're quoting.
It's a personal tour rather than a 'cattle market'. I've removed the identity of the agency for 'commercial posting' reasons:
