View Full Version : Turn-on's

Jon

Well here is another side of the coin...thought someone else would pick this thread.

Tell us what you consider a real turn-on? What is it about the person(s) you are dating that turns you into a pile of slush and makes you melt into a soft puddle of pudding?

My favorite: "I like a woman who speaks very softly on the telephone and makes me want to jump on the next plane before she can finish her sentence."

Or: "I like to feel important and that what I say is interesting."

Not all turn-on's are sexual in nature. Sometimes we can get emotionally excited just by their behavior or the way we are treated. I don't suggest that we start posting sexual turn-on's, but those little things our mate does that makes living more enjoyable.

I think the woman here will agree that sex is important, but it's not always the turn-on (button) that keeps the relationship lively.

With the luck I've been having lately any woman under 200 pounds and under 60 years of age that replies more than once makes me happy. http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

This conjures up a thought. Apparently my idea of the "average" build for an American woman is inaccurate.

Many profiles I've seen start with saying they are of average build but as you read on you see something like 5'4", 180 pounds. Hmmmmm, I thought that was more like "ample" or maybe "fluffy" http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif Craig.

Lol Jon.

I was trying to be politically correct, I didn't mean to make you hungry. How about "thin challenged" or "obese?"

Does that do anything to curb your appetite?

Craig.

By the way. The microwave is my best friend so a home cooked meal is always very much appreciated. http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

What turns me on...

Women that can carry on a conversation about things that I am also interested in. Examples: A woman that knows what Cd is realitive to aerodynamics. Or knows what makes the best fertilizer for growing corn. If she can field strip an AK-47 with a blindfold on she'd be my dream girl.

Women that looks after her family and friends without being intrusive or domineering.

A woman that can also do things like I can. I can sew a button or an entire shirt. I can restore an old piece of furniture, paint a room, hang a picture.

If she is confident in a little black dress going to dinner or in worn out bib overalls tilling up the garden with me.

A woman that can work on her own car and doesn't mind helping me out when I'm working on mine.

If she knows the value of hard work and persistant effort.

If she can laugh, cry, and love with me, share my hopes and dreams along with her own.

If she can be my best friend with the skills to listen and to share her own thoughts.

If she can understand the wisdom of buying things when we can afford them and not wanting to use credit to replace savings.

If she can touch my heart with her words and actions and I can see it in her eyes.

If she know when to expect and push me when the time is appropriate to do something. I have a bad habbit of anylizing things so much I talk myself right out of buying things when I really do need them.

If she can handle a firearm as well or better than myself. Yes, I am a hunter/recreational shooter. That means that I do have firearms in the house. So she cannot be afraid of them.

If she can stand my snoring when I'm really tired without waking me up every 10 minutes.

If she can drink an entire can of Coke and burp then laugh about it later without feeling guilty.

If she is not ashamed of me for who and what I am without reguard to other peoples opinion.

Is that all Barracuda? http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I'm attractted to a woman that is breathing http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Seriously, I really would like to find someone who wants to be my friend as well as my lover and just accept me for who I am rather then thinking she can mold me into something else (I think a lot of guy's have the same problem.)

Someone that would respect me as I would respect her so we could be better as a couple then we are as individuals BECAUSE of our differences. A ying/yang balance kind of thing.

Craig.

Maroossia
11-14-2002, 06:35 PM
I agree with Xutesute (about differences and ying/yang balance)...

And the things Barracuda described... Hmm, I'd rather take most of them as absolute turn-off's if my man expected me to burp (and laugh http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif ), stand his snoring,

Maroossia,

Actually my comments were intended to be humorous. Kind of a reference to the woman being one of the guys but female. I do expect that a woman be confident in herself enough to be willing to try some of the things that I am interested in. Just as she should expect me to try some of the things she likes to do. I probably should work on my humor skills, eh?

Wow!!!

Isn't this more fun than slinging mud? I think the FSU women will get a better feeling for Western men once the have an idea of what he expects (desires) and looks for in a mate.

Where are the FSU women? What do they think is a turn-on? I hope they have some opinions to share with us so we know what to expect. Maybe their turn-on's are not much different from Western women?

G'day Maroossia,
Yeah Baltika's quite tasty but i thought the point was to write what turns 'me' on, if i like cricket i like cricket, i can't not add it because you may not understand. Just like when someone was talking about 'SPB' and i did'nt understand what it mean'nt i simply put it out there and asked what it mean'nt.
Theres nothing there about 'rugby', though a couple of teams from moscow are coming over to play a few games here early next year and i believe russia's gonna have a team in next years rugby world cup. http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Some physical (and not only physical) attributes that are turn-on's for me:

1) Bald (shaved) head
2) Dark (black) hair
3) Broad shoulders
4) Big (but not fat) legs
5) Stylish and elegant clothes (even if it's a sort of "bib overalls" previously discussed http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif )
6) Glasses (elegant)
7) Strong but beautiful hands
8) Oriental perfume
9) Military or sports (except tennis) background
10) Tuxedo's (if relevant)

Again, more serious things - later...

G'day Vicky,

well you see the problem is that once my photo goes public my life will probably change big-time. I'm gonna get about 10,000 emails from love-struck russian girls just dying to get there hands on my handsome boyish good looks, plus there gonna be heaps of modelling agencies trying 'snap-me-up' as there latest 'hot new star' (i may even end up in hollywood!!!!), plus the divorce rate in russias gonna skyrocket as the beautiful young wives leave there husbands to try and get me, plus i'm gonna be a victim of the 'beautiful women' type syndrome where from now on people won't be interested in my personality just my appearence, and finally i don't want to become an international sex-object, lusted after in the four corners of the world.

Just think of the ramifications Vicky, my whole world hinges on this decision of yours.!!!!!!!!!!!! http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif http://datingtalk.info/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
