I have just joined and read this whole thread. First I would like to say you guys and girls are funny. Secondly, I live in America in VA. I have dated 2 russian women over the last 2 years (both here on travel visa's and both stayed ilegaly after they got here) I have met and befriended many russians and Ukrainians in this area (a large contracter puts them to work for no pay and long hours). I have notice a few things myself just dating and being friends with them.

Now please don't shoot me this is my observasion.

They are the hardest workers I have ever met, however they are very lost to the american ways. They save everything they make saving for a bad day or to go back home one day but at the same time do not enjoy the stuff that america has to offer. They often meet the wrong type of guys that take advantage of them (as they normaly work in lower class establishments with lower income american people who they beleive are doing good cause they have a car and live on thier own when infact they are poor and just scraping by). I have seen girls be promised the world and end up pregnant or even worse robbed and beat up.
Now I myself have helped a few out and like I said dated a few and well I picked the wrong ones. LOL I ended up opening my home and life to a very stunning 24 year old Russian girl who in the end stole my credit card and bought a ticket back to russia when I left out of town on buss. I returned home to a missing laptop and credit card.
Now I am not blamming all russians for her shit, but I would like to say there are russians on both sides of the spectrum.\
